This Privacy Policy describes how RenSike ("we", "our", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our suite of Shopify apps (each an "App"). This policy applies to all Apps published by us on the Shopify App Store.

When you install an App, we access and store only the information required to provide the App's functionality. Depending on the App you use, this may include:

• Shop and store information — store name, domain, settings, and plan configuration needed to run the App.
• Business data — products, orders, customers, inventory, prices, and fulfillment details, used solely to deliver the features you enable (for example, generating bundles, pre-orders, invoices, or marketing content).
• Configuration data — settings you enter within an App, such as discount rules, message templates, FAQ entries, channel attribution tags, and connection details.
• Content you generate — AI-generated drafts (descriptions, replies, SEO titles, etc.) that you create and save through our Apps.
• Technical data — IP address, browser type, and usage logs, used for security, debugging, and performance monitoring.

4. How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

• Operate, maintain, and improve each App's functionality;
• Generate AI-powered content (descriptions, support drafts, review replies, SEO content) using third-party AI providers — only the text you instruct the App to process is sent;
• Send transactional messages you configure, such as order notifications and abandoned-checkout reminders via WhatsApp;
• Process and validate compliance documents such as e-invoices;
• Provide customer support and respond to inquiries;
• Monitor performance and prevent abuse, fraud, or security incidents.

5. Third-party services

We rely on trusted third-party services to host and operate our Apps:

• Shopify — for OAuth authentication, API access, and App Store distribution;
• AI providers (e.g., DeepSeek) — to generate AI content; data sent is limited to the content you ask the App to process;
• Cloud infrastructure (e.g., Vercel and Neon) — for hosting the Apps and their databases;
• Meta (WhatsApp) — if you use the WhatsApp channel, messages are transmitted through Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform.

These providers process data only as necessary to deliver the services and under their own privacy and security commitments.

6. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account remains active and the App is installed. When you uninstall an App, we delete or anonymize your store's data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it (for example, tax or e-invoicing compliance records).

7. Data security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS), access controls, and secure credential storage. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's privacy

Our Apps are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of an App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
